So I have been very bad at keeping this blog up to date, however it is my intention to change that!
I guess the most important news to tell you is that I have moved studio. I am now one of four artists who have residencies in Westgate Visual Arts Studios in Wexford, with thanks to County Wexford Arts Department and Wexford Arts Centre.
I am in studio 2. I am not quite set up yet, but will share some photos in the coming weeks. The studios are not open to the public on a daily basis so if you want a studio visit or are looking for me contact me via email or phone to organise.
During September, I had a really lovely residency in Dampierre Sur Boutonne, France with Hambly and Hambly, where I benefited from fantastic mentoring from Irish artist Eamonn Coleman. The entire experience was amazing. Gorgeous location, amazing food and hospitality. Ciara (from Hambly and Hambly) and Eamon could not have done more to make myself and the other participating artists feel more welcome.
It really made me look at my practice and evaluate what I am doing and to play 🙂
Here is a short snippet of me doing just that – experimenting making momigami paper to explore incorporating it into my practice to make paintings on

Here is a little video showing some of the amazing food.
